When it comes to nutrition and fitness, Kathleen knows her stuff. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist, and the founding principal of The Right Balance Consultancy.
For over a decade she has designed and delivered health promotion programs with a focus on nutrition, exercise and behaviour change in a wide range of settings including celebrities, government, food industry, schools, academia and corporations.
Working consistently with the media, Kathleen has featured on Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Today Tonight, Today Show, ABC and SBS radio, and is a regular contributor to Body & Soul, Australian Healthy Food Guide, Nine-to-Five, Fernwood, Australian Women's Weekly, Lifestyle You, AskMen, Cosmopolitan and Cleo.
Apart from her extensive media portfolio, Kathleen regularly consults to government agencies on various public health campaigns and policies, along with the food industry on various consumer campaigns. Her current project is with Horticulture Australia as the spokesperson for cherries

Kathleen earned her B.S in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Health Science, specialising in Human Nutrition. Active in professional organisations and networks, Kathleen is also a member of the
Dietitians Association of Australia www.daa.asn.au and the
Exercise and Sports Science Association www.essa.org.au
Kathleen is passionate about sifting through all the sciency jargon and translating it into 'bite-sized' info that one can easily understand and use straight away! Apart from being strongly committed to building, supporting and preserving the integrity of her profession through on-going education and learning, Kathleen's ultimate mission is to coach others to live a balanced and meaningful life.
Kathleen's first book What's Eating You? is due for publication in December 2011 (Random House Australia).
